New brand aligns with company’s focus to lead the new category of powering document-dependent work and expanded business impact for customers
SILICON SLOPES, Utah, April 18, 2023 — eFileCabinet, leader in document management and process automation, recently announced its decision to rename the company Revver, Inc., effective immediately. In addition, the company also changed the name of their flagship product from Rubex to Revver. This rebrand signifies a pivotal moment for the company as a leader in expanding traditional document management into a new technology category focused on automating all document-dependent work. This shift delivers a dramatic increase in the business impact that Revver provides its customers.
When it was first launched 22 years ago, the eFileCabinet brand was a good representation of the solutions the company delivered for its target audience: specifically, a way for small accounting firms to intelligently store electronic files in a local, on-premises storage environment, or quite literally, an “electronic filing cabinet.”
Fast forward 22 years and several iterations of the company’s software platform, and the eFileCabinet name no longer accurately represents the company’s mission, customers served, nor impact the company delivers. Hence, the company’s decision to rebrand.
“Revver embodies speed, acceleration, and action, and better represents who we are, who we serve, and, specifically, the business impact we deliver for our customers and partners,” said Jesse Wood, chief executive officer at Revver. “Today, we are focused on helping teams and organizations of all sizes and across a wide variety of use cases to digitize and automate all kinds of document-dependent work, putting documents to work for our customers, instead of vice versa. And in today’s challenging economic environment, the efficiency and productivity gains Revver delivers are truly vital.”
The new brand also coincides with the company’s role in leading the evolution of the document management category into a new category focused on powering and automating all aspects of document-dependent work. The requirements of modern document work are expanding beyond basic cloud storage and simple approval routing workflows that have been the hallmark of legacy document management. Today’s document work has expanded such that customers need solutions to automate all aspects of document work, from storage and security to complex business processes and governance. And organizations need to be able to harvest these productivity gains without hiring software developers. The evolution of document management into the new category of document-dependent work offers our customers a more critical value proposition than traditional document management. This push into a new category provides greater efficiency, accuracy, collaboration, compliance, and data management capabilities.
“Our software drives greater efficiency and business results for our customers by easily and efficiently managing their document-dependent work, bringing their key documents, processes, employees, and clients all in one place,” said David Graham, chief product officer at Revver. “Bottom line, Revver powers better work by helping team members follow best practices, execute and automate scalable business processes, automatically adhere to compliance and governance policies, and get to work that simply wasn’t getting done before.”
Wood says this rebrand, along with key upcoming platform upgrades, will better position customers to utilize Revver to its fullest potential as they continue making it a vital part of their document operations to grow their own business.
